Your next step is to research what information you can locate using our subscription databases. Students in this district are very lucky that we have access to some outstanding databases from either home or school.
To access from school:
Click on the Destiny Icon
This will take you to the IRMS Home Page where you will be able to access the following databases: World Book, SIRS/ProQuest, Gale, e-Pilot, the e-library and the Chesapeake Public Library.
To access these sites from home you must obtain the login and password information from the LMS. For your convenience, we have printed the name of each database. as well as the access information for each on a bookmark. From any remote computer:
1. Log on to the Chesapeake Public Schools website at www.cpschools.com
2. Click on the parents/students tab at the top of the page
3. Scroll down to "Library Media Resources"
4. Click on "Secondary Resources"
